NYC Limit on Sugary Drink Size Struck Down

Tuesday, March 12th, 2013

New York City mayor Bloomberg’s signature anti-obesity initiative was struck down by State Supreme Court Justice Milton Tingling on Monday… just a day before it was to have taken effect. Widely (and inaccurately) characterized as a “soda ban,” the initiative limited the maximum size of sugary, non-dairy drinks sold in restaurants, movie theaters, stadiums and

Budweiser: It’s Like Making Love in a Canoe

Friday, March 8th, 2013

Back when I was in college, I attended various parties where alcohol was served… and – more often than not – the alcohol was in the form of beer. Seattle Requires Vending Machines on City Property to be Half-Healthy

Wednesday, March 6th, 2013

Talk About Inflated Ad Claims!

Saturday, July 7th, 2012

I’ve seen some pretty outrageous claims for supps before, but I think the claims for “Undoit,” an Australian product, take the cake: A WEIGHT-LOSS treatment that claims to allow users to gorge on fatty foods and then “undo it” by taking a specified number of its herbal pills is fighting a push to have it
